ObjectivesPlan the high-level design for "eBento", an integrated suite of cloud-based applications for the SMB (Small and Medium Business) market. As initially conceived, the product would include modules for email aggregation, contact management, chat, voice over IP, an online store for purchasing mobile applications, and many other features. The administrative interface included extensive applications for employee and service management. All of this was to be combined with an innovative back-end infrastructure. Because the product suite was still in the early concept stage, everything about the product was subject to change. Therefore the immediate goal was simply to visualize all of the proposed components, enabling the key stakeholders to buy into the project and provide feedback. My RoleInitially my role was Lead User Experience Designer, rapidly creating and iterating a large set of wireframes (eventually more than 100). But over the course of the 6-month project, the additional role of Senior Product Manager was added. This meant that I was often given only a general concept or topic (with perhaps a few bullet points), and then I would be expected to define an appropriate feature set as I created the wireframes. I also took responsibility for identifying any missing components or problematic issues that arose. In short, my role was to imagine the details of the proposed applications and then to provide rapid, iterated visualization of the key concepts. Samples of my Documents
